Grammar Note: Tener que + Infinitive

In Spanish, we use “tener que” + verb to express something someone has to do. It’s often used for obligations, advice, or strong recommendations

Just:

  1. conjugate the verb tener
  2. add “que”
  3. and then add the verb in the infinitive (not conjugated).
