Grammar notes:

As general rule, we use the verb “ser” to talk about things that are permanent or hard to change. Some of those things include: our name, our description (physical or personality), our nationality, and our occupation.

When we compare, we use

  1. a verb,
  2. the words “más” (more) or “menos” (less) + an adjective and
  3. the word “que” (in this context, it means “than”).
